St. Matthew Lutheran Church is part of the Northwestern Ohio Synod of the ELCA, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. In the past, St. Matthew has provided Sunday Worship Services, Sunday School, Adult and Women's Choirs, Bell Choir, Youth Group, WELCA - women's groups, Bible Study and Lunch Bunch. We are very proud of our current community outreach efforts, especially collaborations with the Allen County Head Start Program and monetary support and food donations to Chi-ki-Lo Food Pantry in Cridersville, OH Some of the Social Gatherings hosted by St. Matthew includes the annual Advent Tea, Lenten Soup Suppers and Services, a Pancake Breakfast on Easter, summer Vacation Bible School, and our wonderful Octoberfest in the Fall which is open to the community.
